Food Shelf Items

The food shelf is always in need of staples necessary for providing 2-3 meals to a family experiencing emergency food insecurity. An average of 125 families visit our food shelf each month. Please consider donating any of the following items to help us meet this monthly need. Donations can be left in the food shelf bin at Milton’s Hannaford Market or dropped off at MFCC during our regular business hours which are Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5:30 PM.

  1. Are you accepting turkeys for Thanksgiving to share with families in need of a bird for Thursday? If so, I have a near 20-pounder to donate.

    1. Hi Rhonda –

We do not have a lot of storage for turkey’s at this time. We took in about 20, and that maxed our capacity. We were able to meet all families needs with what we had on site. We thank you for your generous consideration of us! Happy Thanksgiving!
